On December 26, a batch of fresh durians from the Philippines arrived at Zhejiang Yiwu Airport via a cargo plane from Manila. After being cleared by Yiwu Customs, the durians were quickly transported to local fruit wholesale markets and major supermarkets. This marked the first import of fresh durians through Yiwu Airport.
With increasingly smooth logistics and the diversified development of transportation methods, multiple logistics options have been made available for transporting ASEAN fruits to China. In addition to road and rail transportation, there are also sea and air transportation options, along with the possibility of customization through multimodal transportation to cater to different demands.
