The cross-border railway block train of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC), which is loaded with 64 TEU chemicals, slowly departed from Chongqing Tuanjie Village Central Station on December 29, 2023, passing through China, Laos and Thailand. It is expected to arrive at Thailand Map Ta Phut Station in 5 days. At the same time, a cross-border railway block train loaded with 30 TEU of Thailand"s agricultural products will also arrive in Chongqing 5 days later from Thailand Map Ta Phut Station.
It is reported that this two-way block train is the first international freight block train of the ILSTC between China's Chongqing and Thailand through railway transportation all the way after the completion of China-Laos Railway, which marks a new international logistics corridor between the two places and will make economic and trade exchanges more convenient.
