On January 5, China Tea (Wuzhou) Co., Ltd. declared to Wuzhou Customs for the export of a batch of Liubao tea worth RMB 38,000, which was successfully exported to Malaysia after being reviewed and released by the customs. According to Wuzhou Customs, the export value of Wuzhou Liubao tea in the first 11 months of 2023 reached RMB 9.659 million, up by 42.6% year on year.

Liubao tea originates from Liubao Town, Cangwu County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi, with a cultivation history of over 1,500 years. It was selected as a famous tea in China during Emperor Jiaqing"s reign in the Qing Dynasty. It is exported to various countries in Southeast Asia and is well-known as the "tea mainly sold to overseas Chinese". (Bo)
