Longmen bridge, the first single-span suspension bridge and the longest cross-sea bridge in Guangxi was connected on Monday. The bridge stretches roughly 7.637 kilometers, with the main bridge measuring 6,597 meters in length, a main span of 1,098 meters and a height of 174 meters.

The lifting process for the last section of the steel box girder which was 25.6 meters long, 38.6 meters wide, 3.2 meter high on the west bank of the bridge was completed.
