On the morning of January 21, the Second Session of the 13th Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee of the CPPCC was held in Nanning. Local cultural promotion was the key issue concerning Chen Mei, a member of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional Committee of the CPPCC, Vice Chairperson of the Female Ceramists Branch of the China Ceramic Industry Association, and Vice Chairperson of the Qinzhou Nixing Pottery Association.

The national intangible cultural heritage Nixing Pottery is one of the four famous potteries in China. In recent years, with the increasingly close exchanges between Guangxi and ASEAN countries, it has become a popular souvenir for ASEAN merchants. After the completion of the Pinglu Canal Economic Belt, a flagship project on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, the Pinglu Canal Museum will serve as a window for China-ASEAN cultural exchanges. Guangxi should seize this opportunity to create a local cultural symbol.
