Recently, Daming Mountain in Nanning, Guangxi ushered in the spectacular phenomenon of rime.

The trees on the mountain were all covered with white and crystal-clear rime.

Many visitors from the Northeast China traveled all the way here, seeking to discern the differences between the cold climates of the southern regions and the typical icy landscapes of the north.

One of visitors from the Northeast said: "It's even colder here than in the Northeast. It's freezing. The rime in Guangxi develops horizontally. Because the wind here is quite strong. The rime in the Northeast tends to hang down."

Visitors to the Daming Mountain can tour the scenic area using its shuttle service. Private cars may also be used if the weather and road conditions allow. (Ying)
