The China-Cambodia "Beauty of Intangible Heritage" Exhibition & China-Cambodia Seminar on Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Protection took place in Phnom Penh, the Capital of Cambodia on January 21. The exhibition was jointly organized by China's Guangxi Department of Culture and Tourism, the Guangxi Daily, the Liuzhou Museum, the Federation of Khmer Chinese in Cambodia, The Commercial News, and The Cambodia China Times. The exhibition was held back-to-back with the 2024 competition for Chinese and Cambodian college students on intangible cultural heritage creative designs. During the opening ceremony, Cambodian inheritors of intangible cultural heritage performed Chapei Dang Veng, a traditional instrument of the country, and Chinese inheritors of intangible cultural heritage from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region showcased the Grand Song of the Dong ethnic group.
