On January 23, Flight FY3801 with 158 passengers flew from Nanjing Lukou International Airport to Semporna, Malaysia, marking the successful maiden flight of the international passenger route between Nanjing and Semporna. It is reported that this route is the first direct air route for passengers between China and Semporna, Malaysia. The opening of this route caters more closely to the tourist demand of Nanjing and its neighboring regions while facilitating cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia.
