On January 29 and 30, the 2024 China-Vietnam Cross-border Spring Festival Gala & Border Residents' Gala was held in Lào Cai City in Lào Cai Province, Vietnam and Hekou County of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, China, respectively. More than 2,000 border residents from China and Vietnam watched the event online or on site to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival together. At this Spring Festival gala, Chinese and Vietnamese artists brought a wonderful audio-visual feast to the audience by combining the characteristics of both countries. The cultural and artistic programs, reflecting the unique characteristics of both countries, beautifully showcased the profound friendship between the two peoples. (Bo)
