Laos offers 4,150 MW of wind power to Vietnam

Seven Lao wind energy plants plan to sell a total of 4,150 MW electricity to Vietnam, local media VnExpress reported Tuesday, citing the Vietnam Electricity (EVN).
It will be done in phases, with 682 MW supplied before 2025 and the rest afterwards, according to the report.
Vietnam has been importing energy, mainly hydroelectricity, from Laos since 2016 through intergovernmental agreements, according to the media.
