Hechi has exported 25 metric tons of fresh mandarin oranges worth over 240,000 yuan ($33,802) to Vietnam, marking a significant breakthrough for the fruit export industry in Hechi, northwest of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

To propel the international presence of mandarin oranges from Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, Hechi Customs has guided companies in establishing comprehensive agricultural standardization and self-inspection systems. They closely follow international quality and safety standards, track many companies' production and export intentions, and provide one-on-one assistance to complete declarations.

In addition, to address the short shelf life and storage challenges of mandarin oranges, Hechi Customs has implemented pre-inspection appointments, streamlined local inspection processes, and ensured the inspection and quarantine certificates meet the import requirements of foreign countries.

Lu Xiujie, deputy director of Hechi Customs, stated that the Customs will leverage Hechi's abundant high-quality agricultural resources to support rural vitalization. It will continue strengthening regulatory measures and optimizing services to support more of Hechi's agricultural brands entering the international market.
