On April 8, folk song enthusiasts and international students gathered at the Yufeng Park in Liuzhou City, Guangxi, to sing in antiphonal style. At the foot of Yufeng Mountain, where Liu Sanjie rode a fish to fly to heaven according to the legend, the internet-famous folk singer Shan Sanmei gave a live lesson to the Indonesian student Mahe in singing Guangxi folk songs, while Mahe shared Indonesian song and dance performances.

Additionally, nearly 30 international students from Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC) experienced traditional folk cultures such as embroidered balls throwing and bamboo pole dancing, immersing themselves in the vibrant culture of Guangxi's Sanyuesan Festival in advance.
