The Indonesian government has been calling for de-escalation of conflicts in the Middle East and asking relevant countries for self-restraint.
Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi on Tuesday asked certain countries in the European Union and the Middle East to use their influence to reduce the spread of conflict.
Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that Indonesia is alert and mitigating the impact of the tensions on the increasing uncertainty in the global economy and the Indonesian economy.
