On May 7, the Rock Climbing Tourism Development Seminar was held at Leye-Fengshan UNESCO Global Geopark in Hechi. Over 100 participants attended the event, including experts in rock climbing from countries such as Spain, Germany, and Canada, as well as domestic veteran rock climbers and route developers from Beijing, Shanghai, Sichuan, Guangxi, and other regions.
Fengshan, a place known for its outstanding people and spiritual environment, is home to a world geological park and a longevity health base. Its typical karst topography boasts rich karst geological resources, extensive distribution, and unique types in China. It is also a county with a large number and high density of large cave chambers in the world.
The unique geological environment in Fengshan offers distinctive resource advantages for the development of rock climbing sports, providing excellent venues for rock climbing enthusiasts and adventure travelers. This makes it a paradise for rock climbing.
Fengshan is set to fully leverage its natural advantages to develop the rock climbing tourism industry, continuously enhance infrastructure construction, improve the quality of hosting rock climbing events, and strive to establish Fengshan as a renowned rock climbing tourism destination.
