The Guangxi Museum of Ethnic Music, established by Guangxi Arts University, boasts a collection of over 600 Southeast Asian musical instruments, ranking first in China. This museum is distinguished by its distinctive local ethnic characteristics and Southeast Asian elements, attracting approximately 20,000 visitors annually. Stated that with the advantage of Guangxi's proximity to Southeast Asia, Guangxi Arts University has conducted extensive research on the music culture in Southeast Asia and, through the process of collecting Southeast Asian musical instruments, has established a deep friendship with people in Southeast Asia.
