On the evening of June 7, the new ETS3 meter-gauge EMU train for Malaysia, developed by CRRC, rolled off the production line in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. It is the third-generation new meter-gauge EMU train independently developed by CRRC for Malaysia following the ETS and ETS2 models. It will be put into operation along the west coastline route of Malaysia, with a total line length of about 950 kilometers.
Since 2010, CRRC ZELC has served Malaysia's rail transit system for 15 years, providing a diverse range of vehicles, including intercity EMU trains, mainline EMU trains, hybrid EMU trains, and light rail trains. Moreover, CRRC ZELC has established CRRC Rolling Stock Center (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., achieving localization in manufacturing, procurement, employment, marketing, and maintenance. (Bo)
