Guangxi Nanning recently received the first batch of 5000 imported frozen high-quality Pakistani buffalo embryos, marking the first instance where China has imported such high-quality buffalo embryos from overseas in recent years. This achievement is a result of strategic guidance from the leadership of both China and Pakistan, underscoring another significant milestone in practical agricultural cooperation facilitated by the collaboration between customs officials and Pakistani authorities.

It has been reported that China has allowed the importation of Pakistani buffalo embryos produced in foot-and-mouth disease-free zones in order to promote the safe introduction of these embryos. This decision was made following on-site assessments conducted by technical experts from the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to effectively serve the domestic germplasm resources. The chairman of Royal Group Co., Ltd. stated that the introduction of high-quality buffalo embryos from Pakistan will greatly enhance the breeding level and production capacity of the company"s buffalo industry. This will also contribute to the high-quality development of China's buffalo industry.
