To consolidate and deepen the pragmatic cooperation in healthcare between China's Dongxing and Vietnam's Mong Cai, on June 6, Dongxing initiated cross-border tourism and medical examination services for the first time, providing free medical examinations for 24 Vietnamese tourists. On the morning of that day, medical staff from Dongxing People's Hospital conducted health examinations such as blood pressure measurement, B-scan ultrasonography, and TCM therapy for Vietnamese tourists, offering them professional health advice. 

In August 2016, the "1369" medical aid channel was unveiled in Dongxing, marking the establishment of the first cross-border medical assistance brand between China and Vietnam. Since the beginning of this year, Dongxing People's Hospital has been steadily promoting cross-border medical services around the "1369" channel, providing outpatient services to 837 Vietnamese patients and admitting 73 for hospitalization.
