On June 20, China and Malaysia issued a joint declaration on deepening and enhancing their comprehensive strategic partnership, as well as jointly building a community with a shared future. In this statement, they announced an extension of their respective visa-free policies for tourists. According to the declaration, China has agreed to extend its visa-free policy for Malaysian citizens until the end of 2025. In return, Malaysia will extend its visa exemption for Chinese citizens to the end of 2026. (Bo)
