Chinese scientists Li Deren and Xue Qikun won China's top science award on Monday for their contributions to the country's science and technology development.
Li, a famous photogrammetric and remote sensing scientist, has been committed to improving surveying and mapping remote sensing for Earth observation in China, while Xue, a renowned scientist in condensed matter physics, has made many important breakthroughs in this field.
