Atom, a popular Thai internet celebrity with millions of fans, has been praising Nanning's traditional rice noodles and promoting them both online and offline to Thai netizens, aiming to introduce more people to this special Nanning dish.
To date, over 100 Nanning specialty businesses have showcased products such as traditional rice noodles, jasmine tea, black sesame paste, and lemon duck to ASEAN internet celebrities and online fans. During their stay in Nanning, 22 ASEAN internet celebrities with over a million followers each have collectively garnered over 50 million video views, with 3.5 million shares. This has led to a breakthrough of over 20 million yuan ($2.8 million) in export trade for participating businesses.
This initiative by Nanning, leveraging the influence of ASEAN internet celebrities, is an effective way to comprehensively showcase local high-quality products and cultural tourism attractions. Nanning is strengthening its foreign economic and trade cooperation efforts, striving to better utilize its channels to accelerate its development into an international metropolis oriented towards open cooperation with ASEAN.
The city is also enhancing its port service standards by implementing innovative reforms such as on-site port linkage, parallel security checks, and automatic customs clearance unlocking.
It has established three cross-border e-commerce supervision centers, reducing the city's cross-border e-commerce customs clearance time to just one hour and achieving a daily clearance capacity of 2 million orders.
