On June 24, in order to promote Guiju Opera culture, a planned Guiju Opera Traditional Costume Exhibition opened at the Yizhou Cultural Center, attracting much attention.
The exhibition will last for 25 days, featuring two main sections: male costumes and female costumes, showcasing over 30 sets of costumes for civil and martial roles.
At the exhibition, the exquisite Guiju Opera costumes were dazzling. These costumes are not only ingeniously designed, brightly colored, and beautifully patterned, but also crafted with great attention to detail, reflecting the exquisite craftsmanship of artisans and their profound emotional attachment to traditional culture.
In addition to the exquisite costume exhibition, the event also includes lectures, live experiences, and other activities. The public cultural outreach program invited experts to explain the history, culture, and artistry of Guiju Opera, giving the audience a deeper understanding of Guiju Opera.
The handicraft experience area invited veteran artisans to weave Guiju Opera headdresses on-site, allowing the audience to experience the production process firsthand and feel the charm of traditional culture.
Furthermore, there were guides explaining the costumes on-site, providing the audience with a more intuitive understanding of the cultural connotations and historical background of the costumes.
