Recently, the final of the 2024 China Overseas Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition & Release Ceremony of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project List, which is the concluding event of the 26th Annual Meeting of the China Association for Science and Technology, was held in Nanning.

This competition, a flagship event organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, aims to connect and serve overseas scientific and technological talents, support high-quality local economic development, and promote the orderly flow of global innovation elements. With the theme of "Leading by Innovation, Dreaming the Future", the competition featured five tracks, including life and health, green and low carbon, digital economy, and more. A total of 136 outstanding projects from 24 countries (regions) reached the final, from which 50 projects were selected for the innovation and entrepreneurship project list. The release ceremony included displays of some high-quality projects, along with presentations on local talent policies and the innovation environment.
