Recently, the list of Guangxi’s advanced manufacturing clusters in 2024 was announced. The first batch of the list included 12 clusters, aiming to create pillar industries that reflect Guangxi's characteristics and advantages, with substantial scale and strong driving force.

It is reported that among the selected clusters, Nanning boasted six advanced manufacturing clusters, including a sugar industry cluster, an intelligent connected new energy vehicle cluster, and a chemical new materials cluster, making it the city with the most clusters on the list in Guangxi. This highlighted the significant achievements of Nanning in implementing the strategy of invigorating the city through industry, accelerating the development of new productive forces, and vigorously cultivating industrial clusters in recent years. Nanning would continue to focus on the leading industries and work with national-level clusters such as the aluminum deep processing industry cluster in Yongning District to build a well-structured and complementary advanced manufacturing cluster system.
