On July 20, the 2024 China-ASEAN Durian Industry Seminar kicked off in Sanya, Hainan Province. At the site, the China-ASEAN Durian Science and Technology Innovation Alliance was established, with agricultural research institutions and industry associations from China, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia and other countries signing an agreement to become its members. The alliance aims to serve as an international exchange platform for durian science and technology innovation to promote the deep integration and mutually beneficial development of China"s and ASEAN's durian industries.

On July 21, agricultural experts and merchants from China, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, and other countries were invited to visit the durian planting base in Sanya. (Bo)
