The Inaugural Run of Guangdong-Yunnan Lancang-Mekong International Freight Train and China-Laos-Thailand International Freight Train (Kunming-Bangkok) was held at Wangjiaying West Station in Kunming, Yunnan Province on July 24, marking the official launch of two international freight trains. The train, a collaborative effort between Guangdong and Yunnan provinces, has set off from Laos. It travels through the China-Laos Railway to reach Wangjiaying West Station in Kunming and continues its journey to Guangdong Province via China's railway network.
