The launch ceremony for the 2024 Fine Drama Performance Season themed with “Colorful Summer” has recently been held at the Guangxi Culture & Art Center. This event aimed to boost summer cultural and tourist consumption in Nanning through cultural and artistic activities, promoting coordinated cultural and tourist development in Nanning City and surrounding cities.

It is reported that this event featured over 50 outstanding productions, including dance dramas, musicals, and children"s (school) plays. Combined with the Golden Season Activities themed with “Touring Guangxi in Summer” and organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi, the event adopted the model of “one excellent play for each genre” and would run for three months. During this period, the center would offer discounted tickets to encourage cultural and tourist consumption. Special exhibitions would also be held in high-traffic areas, where leading actors from the performances would interact with the audience.
