On August 29, the China-ASEAN Business Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The agreement aims to facilitate the entry of Lao businesses into the Chinese market and support Chinese companies entering the Laotian market, particularly prioritizing the development of agricultural processing, infrastructure, and new energy, with joint efforts aimed at promoting sustainable economic development in both countries. Approximately 60 representatives from relevant departments, associations, and enterprises of both countries attended the meeting, where discussions were held on Lao investment potential, investment procedures, and incentive policies.
