It was recently learned that the shipment of goods by the rail-sea intermodal trains on New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor have exceeded 600,000 TEUs this year.

It is reported that dozens of new types of goods, including lithium ore from Nigeria, have been added to the rail-sea intermodal trains on New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor this year. Currently, goods transported via this corridor cover a wide range of categories, such as electronics, vehicles and parts, and machinery. To constantly improve the corridor’s transport capacity, China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd. has optimized pricing for routes from Qinzhou Port East to Chongqing, expanded the service of "rail-sea express" for sugar transportation to Liangjiang, Liujing, and Nanningnan Railway Station, and launched passenger-train-style rail-sea intermodal services for auto parts to enhance the connection between train and ship schedules. This year, five new scheduled train routes were added, and inspection time for containers were reduced. In the first eight months of this year, the shipment of goods such as paper products via the Beibu Gulf rail-sea intermodal system has shown an upward trend, continuing to create new opportunities for businesses along the route.
