Since the China-Laos Railway was put into operation, Laos-China Railway Company Limited has taken multiple measures to comprehensively strengthen and improve freight management, formulate scientific freight plans, streamline customs clearance procedures for goods, and strengthen centralized management of trucks and containers. 

On September 16, an international cold-chain train loaded with fresh vegetables, seasonal fruits and other goods slowly departed from Mohan Railway Station of the China-Laos Railway, marking that the international freight trains have so far handled over 10 million tons of imported and exported goods through the China-Laos Railway.
