On September 30, at the Second Beilun River Bridge, which connects Dongxing in Guangxi, China, and Mong Cai in Quang Ninh, Vietnam, trucks from Mong Cai Port arrived in a steady stream. They formed a long queue for orderly customs clearance before proceeding to the freight yard at Dongxing Port to load up. According to statistics, from January to August 2024, the number of vehicles entering and exiting Dongxing Port reached 109,100, marking a year-on-year growth of 72.67%. This total includes 53,500 vehicles exiting China and 55,600 vehicles entering from Vietnam. As a result, the freight volume reached 797,900 tons, rising by 77.15% compared to the previous year. (Bo)
