Recently, it was announced that the 16th Nanning Marathon & the 39th Nanning Liberation Day Long-distance Race supported by Guangxi Beibu Gulf Bank would take place on December 1. Registration has started for the race.

It is learned that the race has been classified as an A1-certified race by the Chinese Athletics Association. It will feature five events, including a full marathon (42.195 km), a half marathon (21.0975 km), and a fitness walk (2 km), with an anticipated participation of 30,000 runners. The race course highlights Nanning’s unique charm by incorporating landmarks such as the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center, Qing Xiu Shan Scenic Spot, and the picturesque Yongjiang River. This design offers runners, both domestic and international, a deep experience of Nanning's rich cultural heritage and urban appeal. Runners can register for the race through the official website of Nanning Marathon, as well as via the "Maramara" and "Digital Heartbeat" apps.
