Recently, it was learned that Nanning has been diligently organizing the fourth national census for cultural relics, reviewing and verifying data from the third census while advancing the work for the current one.

It is reported that the director of the Publicity and Education Department at Hengzhou Cultural Relics Institute noted that during the re-verification of the Shihengyi Residence, the survey team used high-precision measuring instruments and positioning devices, along with drones and cameras to capture clearer images. Through field visits and tips from the public, the team discovered new relics, including Xinding House in Bilang Village, Pinglang Town, and the tomb of Gan Miao, the “Longhu” General. These new findings offer valuable insights into local customs, such as worship, life rituals, and burial practices. Nanning will continue to deepen its efforts in the census of cultural relics, ensuring that cultural relics become a vital medium for preserving history and promoting cultural heritage.
