Recently, the Nanning-Yulin section of the Nanning-Zhuhai High-speed Railway began speed testing at its highest level, with the comprehensive high-speed test train successfully reaching a target speed of 385 km/h, which was the maximum speed set for the joint testing and commissioning of the line.

It is understood that to ensure the test train achieved its highest speed, the railway operations department carefully selected skilled drivers, collected a range of data, and identified 42 safety control points through precise calculations to guarantee the safety of test. The Nanning-Yulin section of the Nanning-Zhuhai High-speed Railway connects the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone with southeastern Guangxi's urban clusters and extends toward Guangdong. As a crucial part of the Nanning-Zhuhai High-speed Railway, once the project is completed and put into operation, it will further promote the joint development between the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, fostering coordinated regional development along the Pearl River-Xijiang River Economic Belt.
