On October 24, the 2024 China Sepaktakraw Open of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation kicked off at Santang Sports Training and Competition Base in Nanning, Guangxi. Nearly 130 sepaktakraw players and coaches from 20 teams of China, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries gathered together to compete for the championship trophy. 

The Open Championship aims to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation among countries in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin in the field of sports, promote the development of sepaktakraw and elevate the skill level of sepaktakraw in these countries. Additionally, this event also provides a platform for these athletes to showcase their talents and exchange skills. (Bo)
