The Jakarta Forum on ASEAN-China Relations was held on November 1 in Jakarta, Indonesia. ASEAN Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn, Chinese Ambassador to ASEAN Hou Yanqi, diplomatic envoys to ASEAN, and more than 150 participants including representatives of governments, business, academia, and media attended the event. Themed "Bridging and Bonding by Connectivity", the forum featured numerous constructive suggestions from participants, who positively affirmed the cooperation achievements in connectivity between China and ASEAN, and looked forward to the continued strengthening of China-ASEAN cooperation to promote regional development and prosperity.
