The Beibu Gulf International Cruise Homeport will officially open and offer its first cruise on November 15. On that day, the Blue Dream Melody cruise ship, operated by Shanghai Blue Dream International Cruise Co., Ltd., will run two cruise itineraries from China's Beihai to Vietnam's Halong Bay. 

Up to now, nearly a thousand tourists have signed up for the inaugural cruise. Currently, the first phase of the cruise homeport project has been completed, with dedicated berths for 20,000-ton and 50,000-ton cruise ships and a building serving as the passenger transportation center. It has passed the acceptance check for port opening, with an annual reception capacity of up to 1 million passengers. (Bo)
