Hechi is gearing up for a festive Spring Festival celebration with exciting traditional activities for locals and visitors.

The 2025 Hechi Spring Festival will commence with the Mass Arts Gala, scheduled for Jan 22 at Shimin Cultural Square. Following this, a celebratory event on the water will be held in Donglan county at the Pohao Lake Camping Site on Jan 24. Additionally, the intangible cultural heritage events of the Spring Festival in Damou town are set to occur from Jan 31 to Feb 5.

Among these activities, visitors have opportunities to explore the mysterious ethnic groups by participating in the Maguai Festival, the Kitchen God Festival for Zhuang ethnic groups, and the Baiku Yao Nianjie Festival for Baiku Yao ethnic groups.
