At present, the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic is spreading in many countries across the world and ASEAN countries have also been affected. Based on the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), the China-ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association solicited Chinese member companies to donate medical supplies to ASEAN countries.
Previously, the Chinese member enterprises had donated COVID-19 epidemic prevention materials to the four ASEAN countries of Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Indonesia. This time, they donated medical surgical masks to the other six ASEAN countries.
Representatives of ASEAN countries attending the ceremony said that the anti-epidemic materials donated by Chinese companies are of great importance to ASEAN countries in their fight against the virus as those countries are in urgent need of medical supplies.
This batch of medical surgical masks will be donated by the founding members of the China-ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association in the six ASEAN countries to local government departments and relevant agencies.
