Nanning metro promoted a dynamic facial recognition system at stations on all its lines for residents to pay for tickets through facial recognition, allowing passengers to pass through the subway gate in one second, effectively reducing the queue size and ticket purchase time.
Dynamic facial recognition, also known as fully non-inductive facial recognition, refers to technology that enables automatic facial recognition as long the person's face appears within the camera's view. Users can complete the identity recognition while walking.
After registering on the official mobile app of Nanning Rail Transit, passengers can bind their Alipay or WeChat Pay account on the app to make password-free payment and pass the subway gate by dynamic facial recognition.

At present, the dynamic facial recognition system has been installed at the stations of metro lines in Nanning. From May 11 to June 11, residents are able to participate in the public beta stage to experience it personally by applying for its use on the Nanning Rail Transit app.
The dynamic facial recognition system has already passed the expert review. After the public test, the subway will optimize and improve the system based on public feedback and suggestions.
The system will also be put into operation on the upcoming Nanning Metro Line 4.
