The 2020 China Tourism Day Nanning branch and the Shanglin Eco-tourism Health Festival opened in Shanglin county, Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on May 19.

At the opening ceremony, ethnic performances, Shanglin eco-tourism promotional film broadcasts, self-driving tour team departures, and the issuance of scenic story postcards fully showcased Shanglin's unique Zhuang ethnic culture and rich tourism resources.

More than 10 high-quality agricultural specialty booths were set up on both sides of the stage of the event site, focusing on the display of rice, tea, crayfish, and other special agricultural products of Shanglin county. Each booth has online live promotion and sales, allowing people to buy products on the spot or online.

In order to minimize the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, this year's festival will combine online and offline interactive elements. It is composed of 28 activities in six sectors, including the opening ceremony, e-commerce and tourism promotion activities, a poverty alleviation achievements exhibition of the e-commerce industry, e-commerce entrepreneurship activities, investment promotion activities, as well as characteristic display activities of Shanglin's main scenic spots and rural tourism areas.

In recent years, Shanglin county has upgraded its scenic spots while further protecting its ecological resources in depth. With the help of this year's ecotourism festival, Shanglin county will integrate healthcare resources, accelerate e-commerce development, and promote the tourism industry to create new momentum in those industries.
