The first five-star new energy luxury cruise ship in Guangxi officially started construction on June 3 at the Lijiang Shipyard of Guilin Wuzhou Tourism Co. The cruise ship is expected to be completed by the end of this year and will run on the Lijiang River after undergoing evaluations.
With a total investment of 10 million yuan ($1.4 million), the cruise ship will be built into a top-level luxury liner integrating sightseeing, business meetings, leisure vacations, and entertainment. It will boast full coverage of smart network control for the whole ship. There will be six luxurious viewing rooms, creating a second and third deck tent experience for passengers.
After completion, in addition to boasting the functions of traditional five-star rated cruise ships, the new energy cruise ship will be equipped with AI smart equipment, achieving automation and intelligence of the whole ship. In addition, it will highlight its energy-saving and environmental protection performance and service quality, making the cruise ship a great choice for Lijiang tours and promoting water tour operations of Guilin's Lijiang scenic area.
The Lijiang River is an important part to help develop Guilin into an international resort city, and also a top calling card of Guilin tourism. In recent years, Guilin has continuously promoted the protection and development of the Lijiang River, as well as promoted the transformation and upgrading of Lijiang's tourism products.
The first five-star new-energy luxury cruise ship built in Guangxi is also a strong effort by Guilin to integrate traditional Lijiang tourism with smart technology and leisure vacations.
