The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is building a China-ASEAN investment and trade promotion center, as well as a global procurement center for perennial exhibitions and sales, to turn CAEXPO into an everlasting event, the CAEXPO Secretariat announced on Sept 3.

The secretariat noted that the measures will be beneficial for brand promotion, business negotiations and after-sales services for products from ASEAN countries, and that China and ASEAN will see more cooperation opportunities in the future. 

It will continue to devote its efforts to building major platforms for international investment and trade, pushing forward cooperation among countries and regions along the Belt and Road, and expanding the service area from ASEAN countries and China to other countries and regions along the Belt and Road.

The year 2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the year of China-ASEAN digital economy cooperation. The upcoming 17th CAEXPO will organize a series of activities designed to inject new impetus into the all-round cooperation between China and ASEAN, as well as other countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
