Lu Xinshe, Party secretary of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, said during the fair that as ASEAN has now become China's largest trade partner and Guangxi's position in establishing a new development paradigm with domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other has been elevated, new opportunities have been brought in deepening cooperation between Guangxi and the Greater Bay Area.
"We welcome more entrepreneurs to integrate into the coordinated development between the Greater Bay Area and the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, as well as share the new development opportunities in Guangxi's construction of projects spanning cross-border industrial and supply chains and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor in Western China," added Lu.
Yang Chunting, director of the Investment Promotion Agency of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, outlined business opportunities during the event to entrepreneurs from the Greater Bay Area, as well as expressed his hope that Guangxi and Shenzhen could conduct more cooperation with greater depth, a broader range, and more strength.
Guangxi has welcomed a total of 817 projects from the Greater Bay Area from January to August, with their overall investment reaching 671.42 billion yuan.
