The 11th Pan-Beibu Gulf Economic Cooperation Forum will bring more inspiration and suggestions for the cooperation between China and ASEAN countries, said Hoang Ngoc Vinh, consul general of Vietnam in Nanning during an interview.

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has greatly impacted supply and production chains, yet China and ASEAN have worked together to deepen cooperation in logistics and commerce to stabilize the development of supply and production chains.

"Guangxi is connected with Vietnam through land routes. I think that the relationship between China and ASEAN countries will be deepened with the help of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor," said Hoang.

Hoang added that Pan-Beibu Gulf economic cooperation will make contributions to the further development of cooperation between ASEAN countries and China in areas spanning economy, trade, investment, and logistics.
