Special trains helping migrant workers in Guangxi to get back to Guangdong will depart from Guangxi's Baise and Gongcheng, officials from China Railway Nanning Group Co Ltd announced on Feb 17.
Two trains will leave from Baise to Guangzhou on Feb 23 and 24, while the third will depart for Guangzhou from Gongchong on Feb 27.
Those in need who work in Guangdong province can apply to local government officials to board one of the trains, which are free of charge. Children of migrant workers who study in Guangdong can also take the trains for free.
Those who are going to take the trains have to wear masks and go through nucleic acid testing under a unified arrangement.
Those with body temperatures higher than 37.3 C won't be allowed to take the trains. Medical staff will be available on board.
