Farmers were busy picking tea leaves on Feb 17 in a tea garden in Buyang village, Sanjiang Dong autonomous county, Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, with Rain Water - the second solar term of the year which signals an increase in rainfall and rise in temperature - set to begin the next day.
Sanjiang Dong autonomous county now has around 200,000 mu (13,333 hectares) of tea gardens and the tea industry has become a major way for local residents to raise their income.
