Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has burst into life recently, with the floral blooms attracting large numbers of visitors hoping to enjoy the charms of spring.

Here are some recommended destinations in Guangxi. 

Qinghuan Road in Nanning and Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area 

The blooming bougainvillea in Nanning has added bright colors such as red, pink and purple to the city's streets and alleys, brightening the mood of anyone who walks past the flowers.

Yulong River in Yangshuo county, Guilin

Various kinds of flowers have been in full blossom alongside the Yulong River since the beginning of March. A rape flower field stretching more than 10 kilometers forms a picturesque rural scene, together with the villages near the field.

Visitors can ride a bicycle along the rural paths or wander around the field while breathing the fresh air. They can also enter the rape flower field to take pictures.

In addition, the white radish flowers are also blooming in Yangshuo. 

Visitors can get a taste of the distinctive delicacies of Yangshuo such as Yangshuo beer fish and water chestnut cake.

Rongxian county, Yulin

Shatian pomelo from Yulin's Rongxian county has long been renowned as the "king of pomelo", and pomelo flowers normally enter full blossom around the Qingming Festival in early April.

If you are lucky enough to encounter farmers carrying out hand-pollination, you can also try to experience this process. You can choose your favorite pomelo trees, hang your own tags and prepay for the fruits these trees will grow in the harvest season.

Daming Mountain Scenic Area, Nanning

The Daming Mountain Scenic Area in Nanning is an ideal place for those who want to get a close look at azalea and Chinese enkianthus. Thanks to the warm weather this spring, the flowering season has arrived earlier than in previous years.
