A grand ceremony kicked off in Nanning, in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on April 14, to mark the opening of the Sanyuesan Festival.

Guangxi is hosting an array of events like setting up the China-ASEAN Cultural Corridor and the China-ASEAN Friendship Park as well as launching an intangible cultural heritage food display, an exhibition of local specialties, intangible cultural heritage art shows, tourism promotions, an e-commerce festival and an ethnic sporting events display. Pandemic prevention and control measures are also being publicized.
