The UK Guangxi Sanyuesan Art and Culture Festival was recently staged online, further promoting Guangxi culture in the United Kingdom, officials from the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region said on April 17.
The festival was jointly hosted by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Guangxi Chinese Federation of Overseas Chinese.
A series of activities celebrating the ethnic cultural elements of Guangxi, such as songs, dances, delicacies and traditional costumes, were held during the festival, attracting a lot of views.
Tan Bin, head of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said that the festival was held to further promote the Guangxi Sanyuesan Festival and increase the global influence of the Zhuang ethnic group's traditional culture.
